Ashburn is a census-designated place in Loudoun County, Virginia. As of the 2010 United States Census, its population was 43,511. It is 30 miles northwest of Washington, D.C. and part of the Washington metropolitan area. The Ashburn Silver Line Station will serve Ashburn, Loudoun Station development, Moorefield Station development, and Brambleton.

Ashburn Farms-Ashburn Farm is a housing subdivision located in Ashburn, Virginia of Loudoun County, directly north of the Dulles Greenway. The community opened for development in 1986 and its first residents bought houses in 1988. Ashburn Farm holds 3,844 homes, with 1,807 of them being single family homes, and the remainder as townhouses, condominiums, or apartments.
